Yearly school program safety checks by CCRRN guarantee a secure and protected environment for your kids.

YWCA is accredited by the ExceleRate Illinois program, holding a Bronze Circle of Quality.

FULL DAY CARE

We offer full-day care on certain days that schools are closed. Please see the Parent Handbook for all closures. 

RECREATION & GAMES

Your kids will engage in exciting recreational activities and games that promote physical fitness and enjoyment.

ARTS & CRAFTS

We encourage creativity through engaging arts and crafts activities that foster self-expression and imagination.

HOMEWORK TIME

Dedicated homework time and free tutoring are provided to support your child's academic success. 

SNACKS

Kids can enjoy a nutritious and tasty snack to fuel energy and keep them refreshed throughout their day.

YWCA uses inclusive curriculum that celebrates diversity, promotes inclusivity, and nurtures individual strengths.

SCHOOL SITE DETAILS

We provide care between the hours of 6:30-8:45 a.m. and 3:15-5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday at YWCA and off-site locations. 

SPECIAL NEEDS

  • After school care only 
  • Program takes place at YWCA McLean County on Hershey Rd. 
  • IEP must be submitted prior to registration for review 
  • Bussing available 
  • Not open on federal holidays but full day care available at YWCA on select non-school days. See parent handbook for closures. 

 

AFTER SCHOOL PICK UP
3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Children must be picked up by each locations end time, or late fees will be charged by the minute.

  • Bussing provided to/from Bent 
  • Bent bus riders must be dropped off by 7 a.m. at Irving and picked up at Irving by 5:30 p.m.
  • Not open on non-school days/holidays but full day care available at YWCA on select non-school days. See parent handbook for closures. 

BEFORE SCHOOL DROP OFF
6:30 a.m. - 7:00 a.m.

AFTER SCHOOL 
3:15 p.m. bus pickup
